Estate Planning
I once read that an estate plan is the “art of dying neatly.”
Although an interesting phrase, what it really means is putting your affairs in order, including;
-
Preparing a financial plan to provide an ongoing income for your spouse and/or children
-
Organizing your physical assets including property and business assets in such a way to make it easier for your executor to distribute them
-
An organized plan to minimize taxes wherever possible
When we die, our assets can only go to 3 places;
-
Our loved ones
-
A favorite charity
-
The government
Without proper planning, the government is going to take a rather large share.
Let’s talk about being a little stingy with CRA.
There are lots of options available to you. Fortunately I have access to highly qualified professional Advisors, Accountants and Lawyers who work in these areas exclusively. Together our role is to help you preserve and protect your estate.

There is another thing you can do when it comes to Estate Planning. The linked PDF below explains some of the things an Executor must do when it comes to administering an Estate. By doing a little planning in advance you will ensure your documents and information are easy to find when needed.
